Our residence is located in a beautiful wooded area of south Salem with easy access to Interstate 5. The space Our guest suite is an upstairs unit perfect for 1-2 people that is approximately 450 sq. ft. Enjoy a peaceful nights sleep on the queen pillowtop mattress . The sofa can fold down to accommodate a third person for an additional charge of $10.00 per night. Other thoughtful amenities include: smart tv w/ Wi-Fi, electric fireplace, split unit AC/heater, dedicated work area, large full bath, spacious walk-in closet with dresser, and a kitchenette with microwave, air fryer/convection oven, full size refrigerator with ice maker, French press, pour over coffee from Back Porch Coffee Roasters in Bend Or. as well as a selection of Smith teas for your enjoyment. As a guest, you will have off-street parking, a private entrance, and use of our relaxing decks and fire pit. All linens, towels, and dishes are provided. Guest access Our property has 2 decks - a beautiful 680 sq ft main deck with an outdoor living space that includes a dining table, sofa, and chairs to relax (the cushions for the outdoor furniture are removed from late fall through early spring due to rain); and a side deck just below the guest suite with a bistro table. All decks are lit with market lights at night. Below the main deck is a stone fire pit with Adirondack chairs where guests can warm up in the evening, roast marshmallows, or even make smores! (Fire pit usage subject to county enforced burn bans) Other things to note Salem is a fantastic central location to explore much of what Oregon has to offer. From our location, you are only 65 miles from the stunning Oregon coast at Lincoln City. Portland and all of its weirdness is only 50 miles to the north, and Eugene (home of the Oregon Ducks) is only 60 miles south. If shopping is your thing, the Woodburn Premium Outlet Mall - the largest tax-free shopping outlet in the Western U.S. - is just a short 25 mile drive north. And not to be left out is the "crown jewel" of the Oregon State Park system, Silver Falls State Park. At 9200 acres, it is the largest and one of the most popular state parks in Oregon, featuring 10 waterfalls. And, oh yeah, it's only 25 miles from our location! Of course, there is also plenty to do right here in Salem. Minto-Brown Island Park, Bush Park, dining and exploring the historic downtown and State Capitol, tasting craft beer, cider, or Oregon made wines, weekly farmers' markets, riding the carousel at River Front Park, getting hands-on at the Gilbert House Children's Museum, and the beautiful Willamette River are all right here in Salem!
