Smûk Tiny

At Smûk Tiny, you experience life in miniature. Happiness is in the little things, and we know how to deal with that. To give you the feeling of home in a Smûkkerig format, we have therefore built a tiny house on the site. With the familiar Scandinavian atmosphere and the farm feeling, Smûk Tiny offers you the tranquility that is sometimes lacking at home. The cottage is equipped with nice warm duvets for ultimate comfort. On cold nights, you can snuggle up next to the warm, woolen mugs from Van Buuren. The space The large window overlooking the meadows helps you to unwind completely. Curl up with a lovely plaid in front of the wood stove outside on the terrace and enjoy being together. Smûk Tiny is a Wi-Fi-free cottage, which is completely designed to connect with each other and with yourself. There is a lot to do around the cottage. You can walk with the picnic basket to the Smûkstrand, a beautiful piece of grass on the water with lovely beach chairs. What do you get? A double accommodation, with room for a small child up to 3 years old. Interior Smûk Tiny has a shower and toilet. In the cottage, you will find freshly made beds, freshly washed towels and kitchen linen. The interior is equipped with light wood with plenty of natural light. The cottage consists of natural materials and is furnished with a seat, a sofa and table and a kitchen with refrigerator, stove and kitchen utensils. Exterior Outside, you can cook on an open fire. The cottage has a large window overlooking the Frisian meadows and a sliding door that opens to a deck with outdoor chairs. Outside, you can enjoy the Frisian outdoors in the hammock. For a little more luxury, you can also book a hot tub at Smûk Tiny. Guest access Both nature and animals are cared for with love on this farmyard. Everything from frogs to cows gets the peace and flowers space to flourish. Nature-friendly banks and clean ditches make Smûk a nice home for small and large life. The banks where the boats are located are dotted with local flowers and herb-rich grassland. So you can take a sloop directly from the farm to the TJeukemeer. Would you like to eat or drink nearby? Then walk to the nice terrace of the Dikke Tût at the bridge in the village, or visit restaurant de Fûke. You are also a 15-minute drive from Lemmer, where Fem aan het Dok and Beachclub Lemmer are golden tips! Don't feel like leaving the premises? You are also very welcome at Smûk! The site is not only located between the meadows, but also on the Pier Christiaansloot. So you can sail directly from the farm to the TJeukemeer. At Smûk, you are also welcome with your own tent or nice camper. Find a nice spot in the meadow and make yourself at home. Is your stomach starting to rumble? Then you can walk to the country shop for some fresh vegetables or a steak from the Red Spotted cow. If you're lucky, Crista has just baked her famous apple pies for coffee. For children, there are play facilities on the farm and there is a lot of adventure to be had. From swinging rope in the hay bales to canoes and from cuddling goats and petting ponies to collecting eggs, there is always something to do. When you are ready for some wind in your hair, you can take a beautiful walk through the untouched area of the Rottige Meente. You can also explore the neighborhood by bike. Do you want to be pampered? Then take the car and within 15 minutes you are in Lemmer and you can enjoy the terraces at the many cafes and restaurants on the water. The ice cream is also very tasty there. If you have time left, it is also highly recommended to step back in time to the old Friesland, with a visit to Hindeloopen. In this shipping village on the shores of the IJsselmeer, old traditions are still fully honored and sailors' songs echo in the narrow streets and centuries-old monuments. The Weerribben nature reserve is also beautiful for a hike. Other things to note Crista and Gert Diever run the 170-year-old authentic family farm with their family. 17 years ago, they decided to share this paradise on the Tjeukemeer with you. They were one of the first farmers to enter into a partnership with Boerenbed and years later transformed the coach house into the Smûk Huske. Nowadays, the site is also open for Smûk Camping. So you can bring your own stuff or rent Smûk Tents! You don't have to lug around camping gear, and you can dive into your warm bed!
