So you can arrive with a maximum of 4 people. An underground parking space is at your disposal and there is an elevator so that you can easily get to your vacation home. We have now equipped our apartments with a hygienic laminate floor. Laboe The idyllic Baltic Sea resort of Laboe (approx. 5500 inhabitants) is picturesquely located at the exit of the Kiel Fjord on the eastern shore. The former fishing village has developed into a popular holiday and seaside resort. Laboe is an old place and was first mentioned in 1240. The name Laboe derives from the Slavic "Lubodne", which means "Swan place". And even today, the swan is the heraldic animal of Laboe. The long, fine sandy beach slopes very flat to the fjord, so it is particularly recommended for families with small children. The adventure pool is located directly on the beach promenade. With the Kiel Fjord, one of the busiest waterways in the world, at your doorstep, "beach life" offers a special attraction for "sightseers" who can extensively observe the passing ships. The panorama of Laboe is clearly dominated by the world-famous 85 m high marine memorial. This memorial commemorates the fate of all those who have remained at sea and is intended to call for peaceful seafaring on the high seas. From above, the visitor has a beautiful view over the fjord and the Baltic Sea in clear weather. At the foot of the memorial, the submarine u 995 has been located as a technical museum for several years. The movie "Das Boot" takes place on a submarine, which, like u 995, belongs to the famous class vii c. A visit to the U995 offers an impressive insight into the indescribable confinement in which the submarine men had to live for months. The Kiel Fjord is considered the sailing mecca ("Kiel Week") par excellence. In the immediate vicinity are the Danish islands of Langeland and Aero, the so-called "Danish South Seas." Exhausted sailors find rest and relaxation in the Laboe Marina. It couldn't be better: you're only a few steps away from the sandy beach, the harbour is just around the corner, and the centre with cafés, small shops and restaurants is only a few minutes' walk away. And then there's this view. From the balcony of your apartment, the view extends over the fjord – from the Friedrichsorter Enge to the wide Bay of Kiel. In the morning with coffee, in the evening with a glass of wine: this is a holiday with a sea connection. The apartment itself covers 40 m² and two levels – with enough space for up to three people. On the lower level, you will find the living room with a cosy sofa corner and access to the balcony. The box-spring sofa bed is a good option for an additional place to sleep. The modern kitchen is openly integrated into the living area – ideal if you want to cook something delicious while on holiday. And the bathroom with a shower tray ensures a fresh start to the day. Upstairs on the mezzanine is the separate bedroom with a double bed – quiet, cosy and perfect for a good night's sleep. An underground parking space is reserved for you, the lift takes you comfortably upstairs, and the easy-care laminate floor ensures a clean, pleasant atmosphere. The Strandkoje is ideal for anyone who loves ocean views, appreciates a maritime flair and is simply looking for a place where they feel comfortable from the very first moment.
