The space Our cabanas have vaulted hardwood ceilings and are tastefully decorated with colorful fabrics and Belizean artwork. Rooms are cooled by the ever-present sea breeze. With its seafront location, friends traveling and couples with small children find this a popular cabana as it is divided with a queen bed on one side and double bed on the other, offering a degree of privacy. Like the other cabanas, it has a private bathroom, a sitting area, and veranda, coffee-maker, and mini refrigerator. It is too small for four adults to stay comfortably as there is not enough space for everyone’s luggage, etc. but for two to three adults or small children, it works well. Weather: With an average yearly temperature of 84F (29C), it almost always warm, yet comfortable with the ever-present sea breezes to keep you cool in the hottest of months. In winter, November through March, the temperature in Belize rarely falls below 60F (16C). Humidity is usually high. Rainy season is June to November. Attire: Hopkins is a casual, laid back village. We recommend to be prepared for our streets and beaches by packing comfortable walking shoes, sandals, casual clothes such as shorts, and loose-fitting clothing. It is advisable to also bring along a light jacket, sunscreen, and deet-free insect repellent.
