Welcome to CulNaMara (behind the sea)! A modern, smart and fully equipped luxury family house with an outdoor shower and Iglu sauna for ultimate wellness. Relax and unwind, with breathtaking sea, harbor, bay, and beach views and extensive entertainment options. There are four bedrooms (two ensuite) and a cinema room. Explore the beautiful surroundings: surfing, kayaking, hiking, yoga, mountain biking, swimming or walk to Dunfanaghy village to enjoy the craic with traditional music and cuisine. The space You will have access to two levels: Ground floor: - Spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living room with cosy couch, piano and fireplace. - Ensuite bedroom with 160X200 bed. - Large bedroom with 160x200 bed. - Large bathroom with lush bath Basement: - Two bedrooms with large 3-person bunk beds (double with single on top) - Spacious bathroom - Cinema room - Kitchen and laundry room You will have extensive entertainment options, such as the 80-inch HDTV with streaming services, Xbox, and Apple HomePods. There is ample off street parking for your stay and on-site EV charger that is available for use at a charge. Our home has the iconic “Iglu” sauna, a one of a kind in Ireland. Having some time in the sauna and then talking a cold water bucket shower or walk 1 min across the garden and head for quick dip in the atlantic will make you feel so alive and refeshed. The handmade sauna from Estonia sits 6 adults and is powered by a 10Kwhr electric heater. We know the sauna experience is not suitable or desirable for all guests. Based on the feedback received from previous guests, we have excluded the cost to use the sauna in the host fee. If you wish to use the sauna please let the host know to gain access and instructions for use. The usage fee of €50 for the first hour and €25 for any subsequent hour is based on the quantity of electricity consumed including an additional cleaning fee to sanitise and prepare the sauna. It includes the approximately 1 hour to warm to the desired 85C and it is recommended you do not use the sauna for longer then 3x15m sessions with 5-15 min break in between. Guest access Enjoy all the amenities and rooms to your disposal, including cinema room, cosy fireplace, sauna (extra charge) and bbq. You will have access to the whole house except for the top floor, where we keep our master bedroom, bathroom and office closed. The kitchen has everything you need to entertain or make a nice family meal, including all tableware, pots and pans and Quooker boiling and sparkling water tap. The living room features an electric piano and ample boardgames and kids games are available to entertain the whole family. We have a large garden that sits on the beach which is perfect for sunsets, BBQ or drinks. Great place to pass away the day or watch over the kids playing on the beach below.
