We are delighted to welcome you as our guests in this lovingly renovated holiday home. Who is behind the cottage? The Nibelungen Premium Cottage is a project by daslagerhaus – an interior and furniture store based in Viernheim, Hesse, with additional locations in Berlin and Cologne. We stand for unique interior concepts with character – from modern furniture to special décor pieces that make every home individual and full of life. This holiday home has been fully furnished with pieces and accessories from daslagerhaus – many of which are available for purchase if you fall in love with them. Since 1998, our team has been creating not only bespoke solid wood tables and living spaces, but also entire houses, hotels, and restaurants on request. Why this house? A closer look at the characteristic blue country house, built around 1830, reveals a piece of Odenwald history. The clay house with its wooden shingles, sandstone staircase, and original half-timbered structure has been carefully preserved in its authentic state – featuring traditional materials, old wooden windows, massive oak beams, and an original room layout. Lovingly modernized with sustainability and ecology in mind, the cottage blends the charm of the past with a tasteful, contemporary interior. No two rooms are alike – and every guest is free to find their favorite spot according to personal taste. The house accommodates up to 6 guests – perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends. In the adjoining barn you can unwind – whether relaxing in the shade on hot days or enjoying a BBQ with the OFYR, a combination of grill and fire bowl. Just below the house you’ll find the Güttersbach outdoor swimming pool with playground and beach volleyball court. Numerous hiking trails start right outside the door – the ideal base to discover Mossautal, the Odenwald, and the legendary land of the Nibelungen. Outdoors, everything is allowed until 10 pm – so simply enjoy the view, breathe in the fresh air, and let the peaceful surroundings slow you down.
