Attic apartment with mountain view for 1-4 people

Our penthouse apartment, called Nadelhorn, can accommodate 1-4 people. The view of the Valais mountains is magnificent. The Nadelgrat vacation home is located about 130 meters from the Rittinen St. Niklaus. From there, the bus goes to Grächen to the valley station of the mountain railway and to the shops. You can store the ski or snowboard equipment in our (incl.) ski room right at the cable car. For bicycles, there is a shelter at the house. The space The romantic apartment in the attic Two bedrooms can accommodate up to 4 people. The bedrooms are each furnished with two single beds for two people. The apartment also has a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The whole family or group comes together in the cozy living room with sofa and TV. The balcony is the best place to enjoy the view and invites you to a cozy get-together on mild summer evenings. In the well-equipped kitchen, you can prepare delicious dishes. Even a caquelon for a fine cheese fondue is available. Right on your doorstep is a terrace with furniture to be outside and a fireplace to grill something. The apartment is located on the top floor in an apartment building and shares the front door with the host's apartment. However, the units are separate and each has its own apartment door and is autonomous. Only the entrance area with stairs is shared. The key is handed over by us and can be stored in a key safe in the event of an early departure. Check-in after 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm for a fee of CHF 50.00 Guest access A natural stone staircase leads from the parking lot to the front of the house. From there it is still a few steps to the house entrance, in the attic apartment Nadelgrat another staircase leads from here. The apartment has a private balcony that is only accessible from the apartment. In addition, the garden and the seating area can be used. The prerequisite is that the other holiday guests are not disturbed. Other things to note Neighbourhood The house is located on a 1300 square meter plot and has two neighbors in the immediate vicinity. A smaller house is in the north and a similarly large one in the southeast. For shopping you can go to St. Niklaus or Grächen. Both can be reached in about 7 minutes. For skiing or snowboarding, you can take the bus to Grächen, which is included in the ski ticket, or drive up by car yourself. For winter sports equipment, we have a storage room right at the valley station in Grächen. Saas Fee and Zermatt are about 35 minutes by car or within 1:37 hours (Saas Fee) or 57 minutes (Zermatt) by public transport. Transportation About a 2-minute walk from the house is the stop "St. Niklaus, Rittinen." From here, the bus (ski bus) goes to Grächen and St. Niklaus to the train station. From St. Niklaus train station you can take the train to Zermatt and Visp. From Visp it is then still an hour to Bern, two hours to Zurich, 2:17 h to the airport in Zurich, 2:15 h to Geneva and 2:30 to the airport in Geneva. By car in winter, coming from the north, drive through the Lötschberg to Visp and then towards Grächen. Coming from the east, it is best to go via Andermatt through the Furka to Visp and then towards Grächen. From the south via the Simplon or the great St. Bernhard, then to Visp and then towards Grächen. And all guests arriving from the west and northwest best via Vevey, Martigny, Visp and then towards Grächen. In St. Niklaus, the path leads left from the main road to Grächen. Approx. 4.5 km or 6 minutes drive up the mountain until you see the white sign "Rittinen" on the right side of the road. From the sign, it is still approx. 100 meters to the right the driveway leads up in a 180-degree turn to the parking lot. The best way is to make a U-turn at the bus stops a little further up and then turn left up the driveway. Welcome to Nadelgrat.
