Description
The very warm cottage is decorated in a chic and traditional way. Small wooden terrace with magnificent views of the valley. Fully equipped kitchen, wood stove, 1 bathroom (shower), 1 queen size double bed. Everything is tastefully renovated with eco-friendly materials. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Please contact us before booking to be sure of what you want. The space The cottage is part of an old farmhouse, located in a beautiful, wild and very quiet location, and has an individual/autonomous building. Parking is available a few meters from the cottage after the "Parking" sign. The garden is large, you can isolate yourself to eat in the shade or rest if you wish. You have an inner courtyard for eating and resting (tables with chairs, deckchair, hammock, a small sofa (more for the summer season). On the ground floor of the house is a living room with an open kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a small fridge, gas hob, good electric oven, piston coffee maker, electric kettle and toaster. Basic products will be offered to you (salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee, sugar). The dining area consists of a beautiful and very rustic table at bar height and accompanied by 2 old tractor seat stools. For the living area you have a comfortable sofa near the stove, which heats the whole house very well and above all creates a nice atmosphere. It's very nice after a short walk in winters! The toilets (under the stairs) are dry with a system for separating urine and stool, which helps reduce any odors. It is used in a sitting position exclusively for everyone! Upstairs you will find a very bright and very cozy room with a very pleasant view from the fully glazed gable triangle, but equipped with curtains for the night. The bedroom has a 160 by 200 bed (bedding provided) with a beautiful headboard, wooden bedside shelves, a small dresser. Your bathroom will also be upstairs. The bathroom has a walnut cabinet, a beautiful river pebble sink, a Zellige tile shower and a towel rail. The house is perfect for a couple. We sort all the waste and try to reuse as much as possible, so you also have the opportunity to participate in these ecological approaches with a compost bin, plastics, glass etc. We prefer that you take off your shoes in the cottage, so please bring slippers or slip-ons if you need them. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi. The river is within a 10-minute walking distance. Walking trails start from the house (7 arrowed walks to be done on foot). Located a few minutes from the village of Bar and Bor. There is no shortage of possible activities: Bike or hiking trails, Gorb Climbing Site, swimming in the Viaur, mushroom picking, fishing... Many beautiful medieval villages are nearby (Najac, La Garde Viaur, Cordes-sur-Ciel...) Summer is conducive to festivals and events, do not hesitate to ask us or visit the website of the Aveyron and Tarn tourist office (see Tarn and Garonne or Lot which are not very far away) Looking forward to welcoming you to La "Petite Joulinie"! Guest access You will have access to the entire property. Other things to note Pillowcases, fitted sheet, duvet cover and towels are provided. Toilet paper provided. Firewood is provided. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi. No smoking in the accommodation! We offer a breakfast for 8 euros, including a hot drink, jams/chestnut cream and homemade bread (with small spelt or wheat), pancakes or blinis if you wish or fruits or dairy products. Please let us know in advance! We also offer artisanal pizzas with or without gluten (to be ordered at least 3 days before, except Monday evening), made with local products: 4 cheeses; with vegetables; with chorizo/peppers; with chicken, Camembert and rosemary; with salad, Parmesan and raw ham; with cream/black trumpets etc.
