Looking for a quiet village life, enjoy the quietness and tranquility in our new bright spacious,fully furnished and equipped house for comfortable and relaxing moments in the traditional picturesque "Kerasia" village, located 15-20 minutes from Heraklion and 30 minutes from the southern part of Crete, Phaistos and Matala. The space The country house is located in kerrasa village, 24 km south of Heraklion airport. It is an ideal base for exploring Crete being easily accessible from Heraklion on an excellent major highway. It is built on the eastern slopes of the Hill "Halepa" with rich view of "plain of Kerasia ", the Lasithiotika mountains, the historic monastery of Paliani and the Hill «Kastellas», with the chapel of Saint Panteleimonas at the top. Guest access Our country house consists of double bedroom with private bathroom, one bedroom with half double bed and one bedrooms with single bed. The master bathroom with bathtub accessible from all rooms.In the well equipped open plan kitchen with all the essential you can prepare meals and taste our pure Cretan spices the virgin olive oil from our own olive trees available for you! Dishwasher, coffee maker and toaster is also in your disposal. In the spacious living room you can relax by the fire place during the winter, listen to music from our cd player or explore Internet. Wifi is available. The couches can also accommodate 2 more extra persons if required. Besides that, outside, around the house there are verandas to enjoy the mountain views and relax. Other things to note There are super markets, pharmacies, bank automate at the next village venerato 1 km from the house. You can enjoy the Cretan traditional food at the surrounding villages and visit the monastery of Paliani, one of the oldest if not the oldest monastery in Crete. Other routes or places of natural beauty that can be seen by a visitor is Gorge in St.Fanourios with nice riverside Footpaths. Visit ancient wine presses at "Magadha , the pottery and sculpture - wood carving, handmade jewelery workshops, the wineries «Idea Winery» and «Winery Chondrozoumakis» The diversity of the flora ensures excellent quality honey production, product the visitor to obtain pure and clean from the three producers - beekeepers operating in the village, but mostly fine quality grapes (wine and table) .
