Our house was once part of what is now the French Ambassador's house. So it is a double storey house with a steep roof and copper fittings imported from Europe long ago. It looks like a hunters' lodge inside with wood and a small fireplace for cold winter evenings. It can be described as homely rather than smart. The space Our house is probably one of the safest places in Pretoria; not only because it is situated between the Zimbabwean Embassy and the Residence of the French Ambassador, but because our small area has a very effective community watch. It is furthermore very near the central part of Pretoria, however, it is at the same time amazingly quiet. It is not unusual to be woken by the sound of birds singing. Guest access Apart from their rooms, the guest have access to the dining-, sitting- and TV rooms, patio and swimming pool. Each room has a safe, undercover parking area. During your stay We are mostly available, because my husband and I are retired. Other things to note We have small and medium dogs on the premises. They are not aggressive, but if you do not like dogs, this place is probably not for you.
