A lovingly renovated property set on the grounds of a private home surrounded by mature gardens. Your hosts Sean and Carmel are committed to ensuing you enjoy your stay. This charming and cosy property features all mod cons and is a relaxing home from home experience. Situated just 3 km from the town of New Ross, the area is a haven for those who wish to relax and get away from busy lives. Quiet country lanes and roads surround the property which is within 1.5km of the local pub. The space Lacken View is equipped with all modern conveniences and is tastefully decorated in country style. The modern kitchen also features a dining table and cosy fireside area. There is a large toilet and shower room off the dining and kitchen area. Upstairs via a short stairwell (thirteen steps) is a dormer style room with attractive porthole window looking out over adjacent fields. We are within easy reach of many of the South East's top tourist attractions including The Dunbrody Famine Ship (10 minute drive), Kennedy Arboretum (20 minute drive), President Kennedy Homestead ( 15 minute drive) St. Mullins 7th century ecclesiastical site (10 minute drive), Hook Lighthouse ( 35 minute drive), the National Heritage Park ( 35 minute drive) and Kilkenny Castle ( 45 minutes drive). Beautiful sandy beaches within a 30-minute drive ( Duncannon and Fethard on Sea). Curracloe beach is a 45 minute drive). There are 2 lovely walkways located near the accommodation. Lacken hill is a five minute drive. Carrickbyrne is a 15 minute drive. Both walks are steeped in Irish history and well worth a visit Guest access There is a table and chair set located outside the accommodation which guests are welcome to use. Other things to note Guests will be provided with milk, bread, eggs, butter as a welcome package to visitors
