If you're looking for a place to relax for a break from the city, you have found it. Featuring a delightful leafy native garden with tall shady trees, the home is a beautiful, private retreat with fully upgraded kitchen and bathrooms on both levels. Perfect for the summer - let the cool beach breeze flow through the house or cool off down at one of SA's finest beaches, and in winter unwind and relax by the fire and enjoy the beautiful country views. The space Upstairs provides an open living space with large kitchen, breakfast island, lounge and dining area. Polished timber floors create a light and airy space. The two bedrooms each have queen size beds. The bathroom has a bath, toilet and shower. We have also provided an office alcove with a desk and monitor (you can plug in your own laptop) and comfortable chair. From the deck upstairs you get a lovely view of the bluff at Second Valley and fantastic dusk and dawn views. Relax by the fire on cold days. You are welcome to bring your own wood or we can provide a firebox of kindling and firewood for an extra fee, just ask when booking. Downstairs is a comfortable space for a separate family or children's retreat with a large bedroom containing 2 singles, 2 trundles and a double bed; a kitchen; lounge/dining area; and bathroom with toilet and shower. One of the couches in the lounge/dining area folds out to become a double bed if required. We have a spacious covered barbecue area with outdoor seating for eight people and a modern barbecue. You may be visited by magpies! The property is securely fenced for animals and small children, with no ponds or other water hazards. Linen (sheets, pillow cases, towels etc) is not included in the base rate but can be provided for an additional $20 per person if requested when booking. Guest access You will have access to both the top and bottom floors of the house. There is a shed and studio on the property as well but these are not accessible as part of the airbnb. Other things to note Kangaroos and cows graze in the fields adjacent to the property, and all kinds of birds, including yellow tailed black cockatoos, galahs, blue wrens and sulphur-crested cockies visit the garden regularly.
