Swallow Cottage is a cosy 2 bedroom self-catering cottage for up 4 guests, set in quiet rural surroundings, just one mile from Bushmills village, close to the Giants Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle, Portballintrae, Carrick-a-Reade, and many other places of interest on the North Coast of Antrim. The space Swallow Cottage is a Tourism Northern Ireland, certified tourist self-catering accommodation. The cottage interior consists of a cosy living room with sitting area and a wood burning stove and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. The small bathroom has a hot water electric shower. There is one twin bedroom with a child's cot and one double bedroom, catering comfortably for up to 4 guests, plus one young child. The twin bedroom is accessed through the double bedroom. Amenities include:- - Smart TV - Small library of books & videos - Free WIFI - Wood burning stove - Central heating throughout - Bathroom, with shower (hot & cold water) - Well equipped kitchen, oven, microwave, fridge etc - Washer/dryer, iron and ironing board - Bed linen and towels provided (swimming towels available for a fee) - smoke alarms - Private patio with seating - BBQ, on request - Ample off road parking for two guest cars Guest access Guests have private use of the entire cottage, patio area and lower garden. There is off road parking for up to two guest vehicles. Other things to note CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES Check-in: after 4 pm Check-out: before 11 am LOCAL AMENITIES Bushmills (5mins drive) has many facilities, including: - three well-stocked minimarts and a butcher. - post office in Centra mini mart, which can also exchange money. - a number of cafes and restaurants in the town, including 2 chip shops and several bars. - chemist - medical centre - gift shops - news agents - hairdressers - churches (Church of Ireland, Presbyterian, Catholic, Free Presbyterian) - petrol station (with car repair, car wash & Circle K mini mart), one mile before Bushmills - Garden centre, two minutes away, selling plants and gardening equipment etc and has a very poplular cafe, serving hot food and beverages. PETS We only allow ONE SMALL breed dog, eg. Jack Russell, Westie, Cocker Spaniel. We can't accept, under any circumstances, larger breed dogs eg. Labrador, sheep dog, whippet etc.
