The space Villa Vigles in the south of Crete The villa is located on the edge of the village of Vori, was built in 2001, and completed in 2017 with an infinity pool and sunbathing area with a fantastic view. When setting up, a mixture of Cretan tradition and practical modernity was taken into account, so that you immediately feel comfortable. The building has three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room on the ground floor, a large living room, veranda, and a garden with a pool, palm trees, and fruit trees. The three bedrooms are on the second floor, one of which has an adjoining large terrace. All rooms have a double bed, with another bed in the third, so that 7 people can comfortably fit in the house. There is a bathroom with a washing machine on this floor. Here you can read in a relaxed manner, enjoy a glass of wine, plan your excursion for the next few days in peace or just relax in the hammock. Since the village is close to Psiloritis, it is a good starting point for hikes, bike rides or long walks. From here, you can easily reach beautiful sandy beaches such as Kalamaki / Kommos and Agio Farago, the beach villages Matala, Lendas, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos, or archaeological sites such as Phaistos and Gortys. The small village not far from the archaeological site of Phaistos Palace also has a folklore museum, which is well worth a visit. Simple household items, musical instruments, tools, carpets and weapons from everyday life in Cretan over the past centuries are exhibited here. It is the most beautiful museum on the island.
