In the national park and the rest of the surroundings you will find countless hiking and fishing opportunities. For those who want alpine facilities in the winter, there are four facilities in the area, Meråker, Storlien, Duved and Åre. The last three are on the Swedish side of the border. To Åre it is about 70 km, here the world cup etc. in alpine is held. The nearest is Storlien, only 7 km away.
