The Barn is part of a former farmstead in the Domesday Book nestled in an ancient Cornish landscape . Full of rustic charm, it sleeps 9 guests in 4 bedrooms. Inside are 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen, a cosy sitting room with wood burner, and a second sitting room with open fire. Outside: table tennis, garden and paddock. Peaceful rural setting, 3km from Gillan Creek, 4km from Helford. July/August: Saturday changeover only. The space The Barn is set in beautiful, unspoilt countryside that feels untouched by time. Close to Gillan Creek and the Helford River, with their ancient oak forests, it is also within easy reach of the dramatic coastline of Kynance and The Lizard. Enjoy wonderful walks from the doorstep or short scenic drives nearby. There are also excellent pubs and restaurants close by, serving delicious locally sourced produce. Guest access The Barn if part of a Farm that is no longer used . In total there are 4 properties , although it is attached it is completely self contained with large garden parking and a stable block with games and a cart shed which is for sole use of the residents in The Barn . We provide the oil and logs for fires at no extra costs Other things to note In high season July and August, changeover day is Saturday and minimum stay 7 days ,at other times of the year you can check in and out any day within the 4 day minimum stay period.The Barn is along quite a small lane so is not very accessible if you are thinking of bringing large boats etc . Both bathrooms are upstairs although there is a toilet in the outside stable block . There are two sets of stairs .
