Great bike tours in the whole Wendland Swimming facilities at nearby Arendsee (12km) or at Gatower See (24km) Shopping and post office in the neighboring village Schweskau (1km) The space I would like to introduce you to our apartment: It is used by holidaymakers as well as friends and family and is a part of our whole house. The apartment is located in the front lower part (mezzanine) of the old main house. It is accessible via a separate entrance directly independent of the rest of the house. 120sqm are at your free disposal. 80sqm living and kitchen area, fully equipped bathroom with shower and bath, toilet, spacious bedroom (passage room to the second bedroom) with double bed 160x200, large built-in wardrobe and home desk, adjoining room with two beds 80x200 or a double bed 160x200 usable as a children's room or second bedroom. A cot can be provided. The open kitchen is fully equipped and invites you to breakfast, cooking or simply be a - high chair available. The large old kitchen table of the old dairy, can accommodate 6 people and it is always fun to spend time there. There are a number of board games, many books and you can also watch a movie - no cable, but we have a lot of movies (just ask for DVDs!) or you can connect your computer - HDMI cable available! The living room is openly furnished and allows a pleasant togetherness and a relaxed atmosphere. Since it is an old building and the walls are very thick, it is nice and cool in summer. At not so high temperatures outside, but you should have something to pull over. The heating period is from the beginning/ middle of October to the middle/ end of April, as required. A large garden adjoins from two sides. In these you can get from the main entrance of the apartment just around a corner of the house. An extensive lawn invites you to relax, play, barbecue. Seating and lying facilities, a trampoline, basketball hoop, hammock and various garden games can be used here. Many trees, including fruit trees, are also in the garden. Apples, pears, cherries, plum cherry, plums are to be enjoyed depending on the season. There is also a variety of garden herbs available - like to try and enjoy! Due to the openness of the premises, the very nice view to the outside with a fantastic evening sun, the large plot with garden and the many possibilities for activities, you can spend a very nice holiday in the Old Dairy, whether for a long weekend or for a few days longer. Other things to note Dear friends, dogs can be brought on request. Please do not leave your dogs on bed/ sofa, thank you! Electricity and heating costs are included in the price. I would ask you to consider the high cost and climate and to be a little sparing with it so that I can keep the price, thank you!
