The apartment on the first floor of a half-timbered house typical of the region invites you to linger between exploration tours, whether by bike or on foot. The garden and terrace can be used. There are also safe storage facilities for bicycles. There are usually plenty of parking spaces. Information material on hikes is available. The space The house was built in 1923 and was originally inhabited by a family with 8 children. Their income was partly generated from shoemaking and work as loggers and railway workers. Originally, the house was heated with wood and coal stoves. A pig and rabbits were probably also kept in the basement. Allegedly, part of the garden wall was made with "leftover" cement from the Westwall fortification, which was stretched with sand and therefore leaves the stability to be desired. The family was also so financially weak that the gable side of the neighbor was used as a wall. Guest access The garden and terrace can be used.
