Hideaway in the Hill Country

As veteran airbnb hosts since 2011, we have thoroughly enjoyed all who have passed through our courtyard. Although we respect our guests' privacy, we love sharing a moment in their journey. We invite guests for 30-night minimum stays only, which saves you from city and state taxes. We provide all utilities (plus cable, internet, and cleaning every two weeks), and the renter has a separate, gated entrance, creek-access, full kitchen, washer-dryer, dining area, queen sofa bed, and workspace. The space Our airbnb guests are the best, and we really enjoy hosting!!!! This 2nd floor garage apartment is in a gated courtyard in the heart of Boerne on Frederick Creek. Our entire home was built in 2010. Full kitchen and bath (dishes and linens provided), dining nook, dishwasher, washer-dryer, full-sized refrigerator and stove/oven, microwave, 32-inch flat screen tv with basic cable on swivel wall mount, and high-speed internet. The bed is a QUEEN with a 60" X 80" memory foam mattress and box spring. The tub has a shower. The large, comfy sofa makes into a queen-size bed. A table and chairs for 3 serve as the dining area. Have morning coffee at the table inside or at the small table with chairs on the balcony. Guests have a private parking area and gated entrance. Frederick Creek (just a trickle in the summer) is down the stairs from a walkway off our driveway. Take a picnic to the table and benches, or swing on the swing over the creek. The only area we ask guests not to enter is our back yard. 10 minute walk to Main Street filled with antique shops, breweries, and restaurants (see my Guide Book). 40 minute drive from San Antonio airport. Private entrance, off-street parking. What makes Boerne special: Every month, Second Saturday and Sunday: crafts market with food and music in the plaza, just a 10-minute walk from here. Every Saturday (March-December): Farmer's market at the Herff Farm run by Cibolo Nature Center. Boerne Lake only a 15-minute drive away. We are a quick walk from the Kendall Inn, trailhead for the Heart of Boerne Trail, which connects to the Hill Country Mile, a landscaped walkway connecting downtown along the Cibolo Creek. Walk among trees and native plants from the North end of Main Street to River Road. Other hike and bike paths follow the Old Number Nine train route through town. Guest access Guests have their own gated entrance to our shared courtyard. We only ask that they close and lock the gate behind them, and that they be mindful of our dog, Charlie, who loves to escape when he can, but otherwise is rather blasé about guests at this point. Other things to note Since our guests stay for longer periods of time, we provide only starter amounts of the basics for your use. We also reserve the right to send in our cleaners every two weeks; guests will be given 24-hours notice. We will give similar notice to guests for pest control visits and other maintenance issues we determine necessary. Likewise, guests should let us know if there are maintenance issues needing our attention. Since the house is gated in all sides, we ask that guests keep their gate closed and locked. We also ask that you read the house rules carefully before booking.
