Private apartment in a 400+ years old castle. The historic building is in beautiful condition and is surrounded by 10 hectare of forest. It is located 1 hour by car to Frankfurt am Main in the middle of the "Nature Reserve Rhön". 2 double rooms (1-4 people), a living room, small kitchen and bathroom. The 2 double beds are 190x200cm and 160x200cm in size. In the large living room there is a leather sofa and two leather armchairs as well as a television and a desk. Inside the living room you can find a table with 4 chairs to eat. There is also a small kitchen with an electric hob (2 places), a microwave oven, a toaster, a refrigerator, a electric kettle and basic kitchen equipment. The apartment also has a little bathroom with the toilet and the shower. Swimming in the natural pond is strictly at your own risk. There is no supervision and no guaranteed water quality. The rowboat may only be used by experienced swimmers and also at your own risk. Life jackets are available upon request. The tennis court is available for all guests to use free of charge. Please bring your own equipment or contact us on site. Tennis rackets and balls are available free of charge. A life ring and life jackets are located in the boathouse and are clearly visible at the shore. The castles features a historic wooden staircase. Please use the handrail and be careful! Guest access You can use the castle park with its ancient trees, use the tennis court for free, as well as the pond with the island and our rowing boat.
