There are 18 stairs to the 2nd floor, 5 ft. wide with hand rails. Your bedroom has a queen size bed, night stands and dresser with lights that have USB ports. There is a day bed with trundle, which has separate twin size mattresses in the living room, two plush leather recliners, a Samsung 55 inch Smart TV and very high speed Wi-Fi access. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, disposal, microwave, a coffee/tea station, silverware, dishes, pots and pans and a multiple port USB charging station. We supply sample size toiletries to replace the ones you left at home including tooth paste, brush, etc. Your pantry is stocked with a few items such as soups, cereals, etc. and the refrigerator has water, breakfast sandwiches and waffles. The desk has pens, pencils, stapler and tape. The lamp has a Bluetooth speaker and USB charging port and there is also a Bluetooth portable speaker for you to enjoy. For longer stays there are a coin-op washer and dryer on the premises, $2 wash and $1 dry. Washer pods and softener sheets, and iron and ironing board, cleaning supplies and broom are supplied in your unit. There is a jewelry/gun safe in your apartment to protect your valuables while you are away. There are security cameras around the perimeter of the building. Do you need to borrow a cup of sugar? We are located approximately 5 miles (58 city blocks) from Lake Michigan, straight down 52nd street. State Highway 31 is just to the west and goes runs north–south as a suburban route passing Racine and Kenosha. This area was considered the west side until the city grew out to Interstate I-94, 5 miles west. Off street parking is on the premises for your vehicle. It gets busy during the day as clients come and go to the job service downstairs, but there is always a place for you. A Kenosha bus stop is here on our corner and of course Uber, Lyft and cabs are available. Our snow plow service comes overnight and plows behind the parked cars. Carbon Monoxide and smoke detectors are on the west wall in the living room. The fire extinguisher and alarm are in the hall outside your door. There are 2 long term tenants in the building, please be courteous and mindful of them. They are retired or work a variety of schedules, but don't be afraid to say hello if you meet in the hall!
