The apartment is charming and comfortable thanks to its atmosphere and antique forniture, with a spacious private garden with patio, equipped with table, chairs and barbecue facing the wonderful Val d'Orcia countryside. The space “Il Pozzo” apartment (4 beds; 66 sqm) includes a living room with kitchenette and fireplace, a double room, a room with two beds and two bathrooms with shower. “Il Pozzo” is one of the wonderful apartments of the 'Podere Pietreta' agriturismo, an original Tuscan farmhouse from the 1700's surrounded by beautiful countryside and olive trees. The property was renovated dividing the house into apartments and rooms, carefully maintaining all the characteristics of the original Tuscan style and elegantly adding all modern comforts. All facilities at Podere Pietreta are powered by renewable energy from our solar panels. Our guests can use an electric vehicle charging station upon request. The farmhouse is positioned on a hill with an incredible view of the Tuscany countryside, within the National Park of Val d’Orcia included by UNESCO in the World Heritage list. A private park of 3 hectares surrounds the property, including the panoramic swimming pool, the olive grove, the belvedere and the parking lot. In front of the apartment there is a private garden with patio, equipped with table, chairs, umbrella and private barbecue, where guests can dine enjoying a wonderful view. Available for our guests there is a laundry room fully equipped with washing machine, drier, clothes horse, iron and ironing table. Guest access Our guests will be able to enjoy the incredible views from Podere Pietreta, swim in the Roman swimming pool and walk in the big Pietreta park where you can easily see roes and other wild animals. Pets are allowed with prior notice. You can taste the great wine produced here and appreciate the home-made marmalades and cakes. In fact you can have breakfast served at you place at the cost of €8 per person. The best restaurants in the area offer special discounts to our guests. Other things to note Each apartment in Podere Pietreta is situated in such a way to guarantee full privacy to our guests: each one is in fact located on a different side of the country house. All the apartments benefit from the great views on Val d’Orcia. Interiors are beautifully renovated, carefully maintaining all the characteristics of the original Tuscan style and elegantly adding all modern comforts. Each apartment has original ancient furniture and family antiques; kitchens are of handmade stone. The fireplace is a characterizing element of the living room of each apartment. All guests can enjoy a large private garden outside each apartments where to have dinner under a patio/umbrella and where to cook using the private barbecue. Radicofani, a mediaeval village famous for its grey-stone houses and the ‘Ghino di Tacco’ fortress overlooking it, is just 2km away from Podere Pietreta.
