Cottage at the foot of the Gran Sasso, in the heart of the Sirente Velino Regional Natural Park. Our vacation home offers a double bedroom, a bathroom and a double sofa bed, comfortably accommodating up to 4 people. Ideal for walking, mountain biking and as a base for skiing. Surrounded by nature, it is ideal for a wild vacation, in harmony with the surrounding environment. The space Nonnannita" has a private entrance that extends over three levels. On the ground floor, you will find a lovely kitchen equipped with everything you need. A characteristic wooden staircase will take you to the upper floor where there is a comfortable sofa bed and a bathroom with shower. On this floor, there is a small terrace where you can have breakfast, accompanied by the wonderful feeling of living completely surrounded by nature. On the second floor is a cozy bedroom with a double bed and another balcony where you can admire beautiful sunsets. Possibility to take advantage of a reserved part of the square in front. Unattended parking is available near the house. For cycling enthusiasts, given the absence of stairs at the entrance, it is possible to store bikes in the house overnight. Guest access The entire property remains at your disposal for the duration of your stay. In fact, you can enjoy the large garden with mountain views, and breathe the pure and uncontaminated air of the surrounding woods in full harmony with the surrounding nature Other things to note "Nonnannita" is located in Frascara, a very small village in the Municipality of Fagnano Alto, just a 20-minute drive from the nearby city of L'Aquila, the 2026 capital of culture. The village has only 4 inhabitants and time seems to have stopped there. Surrounded by the nature of the Sirente Velino Regional Park, the Municipality is part of the "Borghi del Respiro", small towns, located in areas characterized by a particular attention to the health and well-being of citizens and guests and a high air quality. The town is served by public transport, but we recommend renting a car in the nearby city of L'Aquila, which is about 25 km from our cottage. Parking is free and private in front of the property. Rome and Pescara are the nearest airports and frequently connect the regional capital through a network of highway connections. The ski resorts of Campo Imperatore are just 30 minutes away, Campo Felice and Ovindoli are 50 minutes away and the Roccaraso area is 1 hour and 20 minutes away You can also explore the beauty of the Sirente Velino Regional Natural Park, with its breathtaking views, rivers and waterfalls, and discover the region's fauna and flora. In winter, our cottage is a good base for the ski slopes, with numerous ski resorts within driving distance.
