Ferienhaus Utkiek
Ferienhaus Utkiek
Unser Ferienhaus Utkiek ist ein Historisches Gebäude das wir 2011 mit Viel Liebe
Description
Other things to note The Utkiek vacation home is a historic building that was completely restored with much love in 2011. The cottage is located in the municipality of Krummhörn in the district of Freepsum, on the outskirts. "Utkiek" is the Low German word for "view," which aptly describes the location of the house. The house offers a magnificent, unobstructed view of the natural paradise of the former Freepsum Sea. Until recently, this wet meadow area was considered the lowest point in the Federal Republic of Germany and is the resting and breeding place of many birds, migratory birds and other native animals. Optimal hiking, fishing and cycling opportunities are therefore available right "outside the front door." Shopping facilities are available in the nearby villages of Pewsum and Hinte and of course in the seaport city of Emden. Culturally, the small village of Freepsum with its country culture club offers various selected musical events throughout the year. Freepsum itself is one of the 19 villages of the municipality of Krummhörn and has approx. 350 inhabitants. It is located between the city of Emden and the village of Greetsiel. Both places and also the coast/dike are about 15 minutes away by car (about 10 km). The approx. 65 sqm cottage has a separate kitchen on the ground floor with a built-in kitchenette, dishwasher, oven, coffee machine, kettle and microwave as well as a bathroom with shower (hair dryer available). In addition, there is a living room with TV/radio and sleeping area on the ground floor, as well as a storage room. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double room and one twin room. The cottage also includes two terraces with garden furniture and a barbecue, as well as a small garden with a lawn and a garden house.
