The location offers many beautiful excursion destinations nearby. The North Frisian islands and Halligen in the Wadden Sea are quickly accessible by ferry and train. Just a few kilometers away is the border with Denmark. There you will find beautiful sandy beaches, historical towns and a unique landscape. The port city of Flensburg on the Flensburg Fjord is only about 30 km away. Visit great beaches on the Baltic Sea or enjoy a fish bun in Dagebüll on the North Sea, from where you can reach Amrum and Föhr by ferry. Sylt can be reached by train or car train. A heated outdoor swimming pool is available directly in the municipality of Klixbüll from May to September.
