You'd never guess this quiet retreat offers fast access to OSU, State Fairgrounds, downtown, Clintonville, North Columbus, 5 hospitals, Easton Town Center and more. We're experienced hosts turning this unique home into a truly extraordinary place! The space The first-floor space includes: a large living room, a connected dining area, a large kitchen with a stove, microwave and dishwasher, a attached one-car garage, three bedrooms one with a dedicated work area and a beautiful yard. The back yard is private. The basement has a full-size washer and dryer. There's also a Bowflex Xtreme 2 SE Home Gym with 410 lbs of resistance and 70 + Exercises! We lived here in the 90s before moving and converting the property to a rental. An ophthalmologist was a long-time tenant with three critical requirements: 1) Fast access to the OSU Wexner Medical Center 2) Quiet to sleep day or night 3) Security. This property was uniquely able to meet those needs until her career led her to move to another city. We were already superhosts with another property on Lake Erie. We enjoyed that experience so much that, when the opportunity presented itself, we decided to transition this special place to accommodate visitors to Columbus. Guest access You have access to the entire home. Other things to note This home is exceptionally well built. It's quiet inside whether you need to relax, work, write or sleep. Outdoor cameras help us understand anything that might need attention, monitor for inappropriate activity and provide an extra layer of security. Visitor Policy: We carefully prepare for the number of guests listed on the reservation. No visitors (people not staying overnight) Occasional exceptions with written preapproval. Requests must include the number of people expected and the approximate time of their visit. Parties or gatherings are strictly prohibited. The large yard requires care. You'll sometimes find us or service people outside providing it. We consider guest privacy paramount so, if we happen to visit to work outside, will not interfere with your enjoyment unless you wish to say hello. Essential Cleaning for stays 10+ days: we require access for cleaning once every 7 days. We'll work with you to schedule convenient times. This is a non-negotiable policy for extended stays For those interested in fitness, we offer a Bowflex Xtreme 2 SE where you can engage in over 70 exercises with over 400 lbs of resistance. Use of the machine is for guests 18 and older. For those looking for aerobic exercise, the sidewalk out front and the surrounding neighborhood are perfect for walking or running.
