The traditional high wooden ceilings with exposed beams have been harmonized with bold chromatic games on the walls and modern and minimalist furnishings. The accommodation welcomes you with a cheerful yellow tint in the large living area that has been designed to create two independent areas even if in a single environment. You will find the relaxation area, where the TV screen and the three elegant white sofas are the protagonists, of which two at night become a double bed and two single beds, the dining area with the table that accommodates up to 6 people and the well-equipped kitchenette. The sleeping area guarantees you quiet sleep in the master bedroom with its orange tint. The bathroom provides you with unforgettable moments of pampering with its relaxing shade of blue. Thanks to the large sliding windows and comfortable equipment, the large outdoor spaces are livable as a real extension of the accommodation, equipped with everything you need to host your different moments of relaxation and conviviality. You have a private patio covered and equipped with a barbecue, table and chairs, a private relaxation area shaded by olive trees and equipped with sun loungers and hammock, and finally a private terrace from which you can enjoy an exceptional view of the large pool that is located in the garden below. Although another building where the owner lives is located on the property, guests have the maximum privacy because they enjoy the exclusive use of the pool, because they have a private gate to access the property and finally because the blinds of the other building that are visible from the house are closed. However, for most of the summer the owner is not in the house so in the summer it is very likely that you are alone on the property. The swimming pool is accessible 24/7, regularly maintained, and excellently equipped with sun loungers, an umbrella, sofas, a table, and an outdoor shower. Villa Il Ciclamino is a cozy residence for couples and families who prefer to stay in spacious and peaceful surroundings, also ideal for children and pets, away from the hustle and bustle and in close contact with nature. Guest access Guests have private access to the property and after crossing the garden with the pool and a few steps they reach the house. It is an independent building, well detached from the owner's house, and is surrounded by private outdoor spaces, in addition to the equipped swimming pool that is reserved for the exclusive use of guests. Other things to note WARM, PERSONAL WELCOME We like to welcome our guests in person with a welcome gift, such as a prosecco aperitif, a breakfast food package, or a typical Italian product! ----- PRIVACY GUARANTEED When the accommodation is rented, the owner always guarantees the exclusive use of the pool, ensuring maximum privacy. Also for most of the summer the owner is not in the house so in the summer it is very likely that you are completely alone on the property. ---- THE AREA The villa is located in the Colle delle Rose area and can be reached with fully paved roads. It is located 12 km from the GRA, the road ring that surrounds the city of Rome, 22 km from the historic center of Rome (Piazza del Popolo) on Via Flaminia and 15 minutes from the Castelnuovo di Porto A1 motorway toll booth. 2.5 km from home there is a very well-stocked supermarket, some shops, and the nearest restaurants. Just 4 km (2.5 miles) from the house is La Rosta – Riano, with its small, original medieval village and all the services provided by the Municipality of Riano, to which our area belongs, one of the nine towns located within the Vejo Regional Natural Park. To the north, Vejo Park borders the Insugherata Nature Reserve, to the west borders the Bracciano – Martignano Natural Park and to the north with the Treja Valley Natural Park. This green belt around Rome produces a mitigating effect on the climate, ensuring a continuity of the natural environment, to protect biodiversity. Vejo Park, despite having undergone urbanization processes in the past, is still intact and has therefore retained a high landscape value. 12 km from the house, 10 minutes by car, is one of the largest shopping centers in Rome and all of Europe, "Porta di Roma", consisting of 220 shops with small, medium and large surfaces. If you prefer to limit car travel, you can also reach the historic center of Rome by taking the FR3 train, which departs from the Montebello station (a 10-minute drive from the house) and goes directly to Piazzale Flaminio / Piazza del Popolo, with trains running every 15 minutes. From Piazza del Popolo, with a walk you can walk in a few minutes to the main attractions of Rome : Piazza di Spagna, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia and follow Fori Imperiali and Colosseum, Piazza Navona, Pantheon. From the villa, you can reach several nearby Roman and Etruscan archaeological sites by car: Lucus Feroniae, Malborghetto, Villa of Livia, Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sorbo, Belmonte, the Etruscan city of Veii, and more. If you love experiencing nature, you have access to the 99-kilometer (59-mile) network of trails in the Vejo Park, including the Via Francigena. You are surrounded by a wonderful hilly landscape full of fauna, flora, streams, and lakes. Nearby must-sees include the Monte Gelato Waterfalls in Treja Park, the hermitages of Monte Soratte, the Lake Martignano Nature Reserve, and the lakes of Bracciano, Vico, and Bolsena, with their medieval villages… You can visit the nearby towns in the province of Rome: Riano, Sacrofano, Castelnuovo di Porto, and Morlupo. You can also organize excursions in the centers of greatest interest of Tuscia Viterbese: Calcata, the village of the artists nestled on a spur, Caprarola with Palazzo Farnese, Bomarzo with the Parco dei Monsi, Civita di Bagnoregio, the city that dies. The most demanding palates will appreciate the specialties of the Lazio countryside: exceptional extra virgin olive oils, Doc wines, hazelnuts and chestnuts, cheese and charcuterie and finally meat, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables, sold to the final consumer directly by local farmers and growers. ---- GETTING AROUND The accommodation is a 10-minute drive from the GRA of Rome and a 25-minute drive from the historic center of Rome via the Via Flaminia. The A1 motorway exit of Castelnuovo di Porto is also a 15-minute drive away. It is also possible to use the local train for part of the journey. The nearest train station in Riano is 4 km away, but it is currently closed due to ongoing construction work. Therefore, we recommend using the urban train line from the Montebello station, which is a 10-minute drive from the house. The train runs approximately every 15 minutes, allowing you to reach Piazza Flaminio / Piazza del Popolo more conveniently in 25 minutes.
