We affectionately call our property “The Haven” and we hope our guest cottage will be exactly that for you while visiting the Black Hills. Enjoy this private cottage that has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is nestled in the countryside just minutes from Custer State Park! This tiny house is situated on the front of a creekside property for you to explore and enjoy! Spend your days visiting the nearby attractions and then come “home” for an evening by the fire pit. The space The guest cottage has one bedroom, one bath, and a combination kitchenette and living room area. There is a private covered parking space and deck for guests to use. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit. Guest are welcome to explore the property on the marked paths, and even and swim/wade in the private, flowing creek. There is also a private fire pit and grill for guests use. The main house is located nearby but several bushes and trees provide visitors privacy from the main house. Please note, the cottage is designed for two guests to sleep in the same queen-sized bed. There is only a loveseat that does NOT pull out to a bed and is too short to sleep upon. Guest access Guests have access to the entire stand-alone cottage, attached deck and patio. Covered private parking. Guests are also free to wander the mowed paths to the flowing creek, sit in the chairs scattered along the paths and visit the chickens! Other things to note A private driveway with a covered parking spot is available solely for guests to use.
