Our spacious mountain lodge in the Ore Mountains, located at 870 metres above sea level, is especially the perfect place for families with children, groups or larger families. Guests especially appreciate the peaceful and friendly atmosphere, cleanliness, comfort, and child-friendly facilities. The lodge is set in a large garden surrounded by meadows. From the terrace, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the two highest peaks of the Ore Mountains – Klínovec and Fichtelberg. The space Are you looking for a comfortable, spacious chalet suitable for families with children, where you can enjoy the peaceful and friendly atmosphere of the Ore Mountains? For children, we offer a safe playground with a slide, two swings, an XL trampoline, a sandbox and climbing frames. You can also play volleyball, dodgeball or badminton on the grassy field with a net – ideal for outdoor fun with family and friends. Inside, there’s table football and a ping-pong table – great for rainy days or winter evenings. Adults will appreciate the fireplace area for relaxing after an active day. A portable gas grill is available for barbecues. And if you return from a hike or skiing tired and cold, the Finnish sauna in the house is perfect for warming up and unwinding. In spring, you'll be enchanted by blooming lupine meadows in shades of blue, purple, and pink. Summer brings excitement with singletrails at Klínovec. You can also explore the UNESCO-listed Ore Mountains Mining Region, recognised since 2020 for its 800-year mining tradition and technical monuments in Jáchymov, Abertamy, Boží Dar and Horní Blatná. Don’t forget to pick some blueberries! Autumn is perfect for mushroom picking, enjoying colourful trees, misty mornings, and the sound of deer during the rutting season – maybe even the first frosty mornings. In winter, enjoy top-quality skiing at Klínovec or Neklid ski resorts (just 6 km away), or on the German side at Fichtelberg. For a quieter experience, try smaller nearby resorts like Alšovka, Plešivec, Pernink or Potůčky. Or put on your cross-country skis right behind the house and hit one of the many local trails. How does it work here? We rent the entire lodge exclusively to one group – up to 19 people (including 4 extra beds) – ensuring complete privacy and plenty of space for everyone. You’ll love the spacious lounge with comfortable sofas and a cozy children's corner for the little ones. The wood-burning stove in the lounge creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor is especially appreciated in colder months, especially by families with young children. The shared kitchen is fully equipped: fridge with freezer, microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher, electric and induction kettles, toaster, blender, and a DeLonghi coffee machine. There’s also a spacious bar with a tap – tap yourself a beer from your own keg or one ordered from us. Where will you sleep? Upstairs you'll find four cozy bedrooms, each with fresh fragrant bedlinen and soft towels. Every room has its own private bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. Toiletries, soap and a hairdryer are included. All rooms are bright, with quality wooden furniture, high foam mattresses, and blackout curtains for a peaceful sleep. What else can you find here? From the house terrace, you can enjoy stunning views of the two highest peaks of the Ore Mountains – Klínovec and Fichtelberg. Access to the cottage is via the main asphalt road, which is maintained in winter. The parking area in front of the house can accommodate up to 5 cars, with additional parking available along the road next to the cottage.
