Description

3 BEDROOMS: very large double room with sofa bed and air conditioning, children's room, double room with normal bed (180 cm) + single bed (120 cm). ENTRANCE with sitting area, large KITCHEN, BATHROOM with bathtub, outdoor BATHROOM with floor shower. 3 BALCONIES, small adjacent COURTYARD with outdoor table and chairs. The space The spaces are generally spacious and comfortable, the rooms are large, and you can easily add an extra cot or crib if needed. Not yet renovated but just whitewashed and overhauled, it still retains the magic and care of "grandma's house". The house's treasures are the beautiful pink marble floor, the view of the square and the sea that can be seen a few dozen meters away. Guest access Guests can access all spaces. Other things to note Distance from Mola di Bari station 1.3 km, 15 min walk. Bari Airport can be reached by train by changing trains in Bari with another train or shuttle bus. By train you can easily reach Polignano a Mare (12 km) Also by train, in less than half an hour to the south, you can reach Monopoli, Fasano, and to the north, Bari, Giovinazzo, Trani, Molfetta... all places with beautiful historic centers. The house is literally a stone's throw from the sea: it is located close to the promenade where you can walk and there are bars, tables and games for children. Mola di Bari does not have city beaches (the first is the hamlet of Cozze 3 km away with a bike path) but there are many places where the locals regularly go to the sea. There are two options for swimming on foot: 1 Portecchia: it is a small port, very close, 3 min, where you can dive from the large stones and the water is immediately deep. I go there every day with my children. If you love the rock, it is beautiful: some days it looks like the Caribbean, others less so depending on the wind and currents. 2 Porto Colombo: a little further north, but still in the village, 6 min, there is a whole coastline of rocks degrading in the sea with small areas of a handful of sand and/or stones where even children can play. They are not yet well-kept places, but the whole town goes to the sea there. Then there are other similar areas always close to the town to the south and north. Obviously, the further away you go, the more equipped areas you will find: Polignano with its stone beach in the middle of the village, and then beautiful beaches from Monopoli onwards. Parking is more easily found at certain times (first half of the morning, early afternoon, late evening) and more difficult at peak times: being in the center there is not much but the town is small so you can park quite easily a little further away.
