Oak Cottage is a beautiful holiday home boasting a large private patio area with wood fired hot tub nestled at the foot of the North Downs. Located in the heart of Kent, in a small village called Harrietsham, we are known for our outstanding views, abundant wildlife and fantastic walks. We are located on a small holding with alpacas, pigs, a sheep called Boo and various birds which you are more than welcome to pet and feed. The space Oak Cottage is perfect for a well deserved escape from the bustle of life with friends and family. Experience nature in luxury, sit in your private hot tub and enjoy the uninterrupted views and country living. The cottage is light and airy with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and large patio doors that leads you into a modern open plan kitchen lounge area with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A hallway leads onto a separate large shower room and three bedrooms. The master bedroom, with a king-size bed, is decorated in a tasteful quintessential Kentish style. Along the hall is another charming and pretty double bedroom decorated in a country cottage design which can be made into 2 single beds. The third bedroom has a double bed with a single bed above for added guests. Oak Cottage allows you to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life where you can enjoy walks through the nearby fields or simply sit on the patio and listen to the sound of nature. For those wanting to explore, the cottage is conveniently located nearby to renowned gardens, castles, stately homes, forests, quaint villages and historic towns. Perfect for a family getaway to get out and explore all the wonders Kent has to offer. At Stable Oak cottages we are all about the finer details. Home made bread, butter, cake, eggs and milk plus coffee and tea are included in your booking. If you would like to personalise your stay, we do offer some additional extras like our breakfast hampers, romantic treat hampers, afternoon tea and we can also arrange for the cottage to have decorations for those special occasions. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the gardens and to meet and feed the animals at Stable Oak Cottages. Other things to note We supply for your first morning eggs from our own generous chickens, bread, butter. There is also tea, coffee & milk. Robes and flip flops are provided for hot tub. We supply a bag of logs for the hot tub on your arrival. Should you require more, you are able to purchase a bag of logs for £5 per bag. Well behaved pets are very welcome.
