There’s plenty of seclusion, but you won't feel isolated—shopping, dining, and attractions are just a short drive to downtown Boone or Blowing Rock. This apartment is calling you if you’re looking for a convenient and peaceful place to stay while exploring the High Country! The space We are open after hurricane Helene and look forward to hosting you! This place can accomodate two people with queen bed and sleeper sofa (full/queen). The sleeper sofa is in a separate living area and is open to the main living area (no doors to close it off). The bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom. We live upstairs and have two young children, so there will be some noise during the day, however we maintain quiet hours from 8pm - 7am. Guest access Guests have access to all areas of the apartment, except for a locked utility room. There is a private exterior entrance. You will not have any access to the main level of the home. Other things to note This is a basement apartment, and we live above. The apartment has central air and heat, however the thermostat is located in a part of the main house that guests don't have access to. We keep the temperature set a little low so that you can warm it to your preference with a wall propane heater. There are also space heaters and fans available. 4wd or all wheel drive is recommended in the winter in case of snow. We live on top of a ridge that is a bit steep.
