Dimora Valverde

Dimora Valverde is a historic house from 1797 located on the edge of the ancient village of Pezza, in the heart of Valpolicella. I am Mario and together with Cristina we live in this house, welcoming our guests with the same cordiality reserved for friends. We are excited to share with you our wonderful region, full of hidden treasures, delicious wine and excellent taverns. This countryside is a place of secrets and stories to tell, with gentle hills to explore. Welcome to our home! The space The house has an ancient feel, with imperfect stone and rock walls, wooden stairs and floors typical of this ancient, once poor, dignified and hard-working countryside. The house is spread across three floors: we live on the ground floor, while the first and second floors are dedicated to guests. On the first floor, a large windowed room leads to a terrace overlooking the Valpolicella vineyards, where a sweet and savory breakfast with local products is served in summer. At sunset, you can enjoy the fresh evening air, sipping an Amarone and admiring the lights of the valley. The 3 bedrooms, all with exposed beams and wooden floors, offer a spacious and bright environment. The room on the second floor is particularly spacious and bright, while the one on the first floor is accessed from the living room and consists of an anteroom with a small wardrobe, from which you can access the room on the right and the bathroom in front. A small garden with lawn on the ground floor offers an ideal place to rest in the shade. Breakfast is optional and costs 8 euros per person. Guest access Our guests can use all the common areas of the house: the garden on the ground floor, the living room with breakfast room, the terrace. Other things to note Parking is at the beginning of the village of Pezza, coming from Marano di Valpolicella. Immediately after the village welcome sign (Pezza), on the right there is free public parking. From the parking lot you walk for 120 meters, 2 minutes, down the first alley to the right of the village. Passed one face, at the end of the alley, is the entrance of the house, highlighted by the "Dimora Valverde" sign. Breakfast is optional and costs 8 euros per person.
