The villa was built in the early 1900s as a country residence mainly lived in during the summer and fall, during the grape harvest and fruit picking. It is located within the Etna Park (UNESCO heritage) and is surrounded by centuries-old chestnut trees and large pine trees, which make it a pleasantly cool home in summer. The house is single, with an access road and a 4-hectare park surrounding it. The swimming pool and furnished outdoor spaces allow you to experience the property in complete freedom and in contact with nature. There are also various relaxation areas that can also be used for outdoor dining, near the pool under the chestnut trees, in an ancient structure is located the barbecue in lava stone and terracotta. Under the pine trees, near the house, there are games for the little ones, the little house, the table with seats, the swing. Don Michelino Etna House is a place where everyone can find their own place to read, write, relax or play with their children, in a natural setting, where they can rediscover family values and the joy of shared time. Designed to enjoy the splendid view, the bright light of the morning sun enters the large windows of the house and you can enjoy a breathtaking view. From the front terrace, open to the sun, you can appreciate the unspoiled nature and the sea view. On the upper terrace, there is a pair of binoculars, purchased by the great-grandfather, Don Michelino, available to guests, with which it is possible to admire not only the panorama up to the distant city of Augusta on clear days, but also the stars, an exciting experience for young and old. In the house, you will also find the map of the constellations to easily identify them. The house is on one level and is suitable for multiple families with children or a group of friends. The bedrooms are divided at the two ends of the house, thus allowing for privacy but at the same time being able to share the moments of the day. The rooms are large, with high ceilings, there are two double bedrooms, one with a bathroom, a bedroom with two beds that can be converted into a double bed if necessary, two bedrooms with single beds and two other bathrooms for guests. The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop with oven, refrigerator with freezer, microwave oven, blender, toaster, kettle and everything you need to prepare tasty lunches. The barbecue area is equipped with a sink and worktop. The pool area is equipped with deck chairs, table, seats, and ping pong table. The exterior is equipped with various tables, some of which are very large in solid wood, there are also hammocks, armchairs and poufs, and umbrellas. We have everything you need to accommodate our younger guests, from a crib, high chair, stroller, baby carrier, to games divided by age group.
