Lovingly renovated former stable in Burgundy. René especially welcomes couples who value tranquility and privacy. The special thing: If this apartment is bookable, the rest of our guesthouse usually remains free. This way, you enjoy the feeling of almost having the house to yourself. The apartment is also suitable for families with older children. The steep stairs make it unsuitable for toddlers. Look forward to good beds, a large garden with a pool and breakfast included. The space The apartment combines the charm of a historic building with comfort. Upstairs are two tastefully furnished bedrooms: • One bedroom with a high-quality double bed (160 × 200 cm) • a second bedroom with three single beds (90 × 200 cm), two of which are bunk beds Our guests regularly praise the excellent mattresses. On the ground floor, you will find: • A well-equipped kitchen • an open plan living area • Direct access to the terrace and garden • Comfortable seating • WiFi (on-site access) • Pétanque/boule track • Pool and spacious garden On your arrival, the beds are already made up. Indoor towels are provided. You will also find the following for the start: • 1 bottle of water • Nespresso capsules as a welcome • Dishcloths and cleaning cloths • Baking paper The apartment is booked particularly often by couples who want to enjoy the tranquility. Guest access You will be staying in our characterful guesthouse. The apartment has its own access to the garden and terrace. Parking is available free of charge in our gravel lot. The bedrooms are upstairs, and the kitchen and living area are on the first floor with direct access to the outside. Important note: The stairs are steep and therefore unsuitable for small children. Young people are of course welcome. Particularly beautiful: If this apartment is bookable, the rest of our guesthouse area usually remains free. This gives you lots of peace and privacy. There is only a small exception on a few dates in 2026: For a total of two weeks, a separate guest room on the east side is already reserved. However, your terrace and garden area are on the west side, so both areas hardly overlap. Other things to note The Meix-Gagnard is conveniently located between the A39 and A6 and even has its own SNCF train station. At the same time, you can enjoy the tranquility of rural Burgundy here – far from the hustle and bustle and heavy traffic. From here, you can discover some of the most beautiful parts of Burgundy and the western foothills of the Jura Mountains. Explore the region's famous vineyards and wine villages, visit historic châteaux, stroll through charming small towns, or enjoy the numerous hiking and biking trails that run through the varied landscape. The motorcycle tours through low-traffic Burgundy are particularly popular with our guests. The small streets lead through forests, fields, and vineyards and invite you to discover the region at your leisure. Vintage car enthusiasts also appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and the beautiful routes. After your excursions, our spacious garden with pool awaits you – the perfect place to unwind. Enjoy the shade under the old trees, relax in the summer sun with a glass of local wine, or challenge each other to a game of pétanque on our on-site court. Sometimes, however, the greatest experience is simply the tranquility: breakfast in the garden, the chirping of the crickets in the evening, and the feeling of finally not having to do anything.
