Exceptional overnight stay in the defense tower

Welcome to the unique overnight experience in Bad Hersfeld. Spend relaxing days in the listed defense tower right next to the city park. The lovingly furnished listed tower is located directly on the city wall in the heart of the city of Bad Hersfeld - only 150 m from the Bad Hersfeld Abbey Ruins. The defense tower is the perfect starting point for city explorations and to visit one of the many restaurants in the beautiful half-timbered town of Bad Hersfeld. The space The tower can accommodate 2-4 people on approx. 50 square meters. It starts on the first floor with the spacious and high-quality natural stone bathroom, including underfloor heating as well as a walk-in shower, hand washbasin and a separate toilet. Here you will also find the eastern apartment entrance, directly at the in-house parking lot in front of the tower. On the mezzanine floor is the western apartment entrance which leads directly into the adjacent city park. From here you can also access the 1st floor, where the fully equipped kitchen including a small bar table and chairs is located. On the 2nd floor is the living/dining room with access to a small south-facing balcony overlooking the beautiful park with ponds. Grab a book and watch the ducks and birds on the lake in the city park. In the living room there is a smart TV with free access to Netflix/Amazon/other streaming services. There is also a double sofa bed with mattress, which can easily be converted into a bed. On the 3rd floor is the bedroom (gable) with a double bed. On 4 floors pure luxury with every conceivable comfort! In the apartment you will also find everything you need for a longer stay. The defense tower is a medieval tower with 4 floors. Above the solidly built thick walls on the first floor, the half-timbering begins from the 2nd floor. The open staircase goes over 2 floors. Please keep in mind that these are not lockable for small children and the elderly. Guest access Other things to note For a super convenient check-in, we have equipped the property with a smart door lock. The famous Bad Hersfeld Festival takes place there every year! Due to the excellent Wi-Fi, the apartment is also suitable for remote work.
