In a quarter of an hour you are in Braunlage on the ski slopes or other cross-country trails in the Upper Harz or many other sights throughout the Harz area. For winter, you will find ski lifts in Braunlage and Hohegeiss in the surrounding area. In 15 minutes by car you are in Braunlage at the new ski lift on the Hexenritt with a modern snow-making system. You are also in Bad Sachsa in 10 minutes with its "salt valley paradise," a large indoor pool with sauna area. In summer, Zorge offers one of the most beautiful forest swimming pools in the southern Harz with several swimming pools and a large lawn.
