Large, quiet apartment in prestigious Hawhtorn St

Located less than 6km east of the CBD, this light, bright and spacious one bedroom apartment will give you comfort and privacy in one of Hawthorn's most prestigious streets, while being only a few minutes walk to public transport, the Yarra River, local parks, shops, restaurants and the University of Melbourne Burnley Campus. The space Located in an older, small, complex of only 10 single level apartments, you will have loads of space, peace, quiet and privacy, with no-one living above you. The apartment features include: - spacious living and dining area, with 55" LG OLED smart tv (including Amazon Prime Video so that you can watch the latest movies and tv shows), comfy three seater sofa and distressed leather recliner, dining table and leather chairs - older style, but fully equipped and functional, kitchen (no dishwasher or coffee machine - French press only) - large double bedroom with black-out blinds, queen bed with quality mattress, pillows and bed linen for a great night’s sleep - central bathroom with shower over bath, towels, hair-dryer and essential toiletries - separate laundry with washing machine - clothes drying rack and retractable outdoor clothes line with pegs - private rear courtyard with small garden and outdoor table and chairs - wifi - 5kW reverse cycle split system heating and cooling unit - single on-site covered parking for a standard vehicle (maximum clearance of 2m high, 2.3m wide and 6.8m long), and - with advanced noticed, free on street permit parking for another vehicle (please rquest the permit when you book - permit conditions apply). Guest access You will have access to the entire apartment. Other things to note The tv isn't connected to an aerial and was made in the UAE so isn't compatible with Australia specific tv apps (ie, 9Now, 10play, 7Plus, ABC iview, and SBS On Demand). You can use our Amazon Prime Video subscription to watch the latest movies and tv shows, or use your own subscription to watch Netflix and other major pay tv services. If you specifically want to watch Australian tv channels, let us know when you book and we'll supply an HDMI cable and USB-C connection, so that you can connect your phone or computer to the tv and stream directly to the tv using our wifi data. You'll need the relevant app (ie, 9Now, 10play, 7Plus, ABC iview, or SBS On Demand) on your phone or computer to do this. Our house manual has more information on how to connect the tv for streaming. We don't generally accept bookings made on behalf of other people. If you wish to book for other people, please send us an enquiry before you book, with more information about who you are booking for. If we accept your booking, you will need to provide us with a copy of government ID for each person in the booking. If you lose our apartment keys, or take them with you when you leave and can't return them before our next guest checks in, we may have to organise a locksmith to change the locks and supply a new set of keys. If this occurs, you will need to pay those costs. If you'd like an early check in, or late check out, please ask us in advance. Whether we can accommodate you will depend on whether we have other guests booked before or after your stay, as well as our cleaner's ability to change her schedule. You may need to book and pay for an extra night if you wish to check in before noon or out after noon. The Victorian government has introduced a short stay levy of 7.5% of the total booking cost for all bookings of less than 28 days made on and from 1 January 2025. This levy gets paid to the government and not to us. The guest service fee you see on your booking is similarly paid to Airbnb and not to us.
