Retreat @ Golden Beach, just metres from the sea

Escape the constant distractions and stresses of city life with simplicity at this quaint beach retreat, within meters of the sea! Replace your alarm with the chirping of the birds and the sound of the waves. The space Located right across the road from Ninety Mile Beach, you can hear the waves as you sit in the living room. The area is surrounded by untainted bushland and endless virgin seashores- perfect for hiking, fishing, surfing, and reading or simply spending time with your family and friends. Can comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests, making it perfect for large groups, or extended families, containing 3 queen-sized beds (with premium mattresses) and one single bed split over three bedrooms. A large kitchen is equipped with essentials (pots, pans, cutlery, toaster, kettle,fridge, microwave) along with a lounge room containing a large suite ,Smart-TV and dvd player with selection of dvds. There are books for the kids to keep them engaged when they want quiet time. The outdoor area is equipped with BBQ and outdoor setting on the deck. Note that there is plenty of parking space around the property however there is no parking access within the property fence. WIFI IS NOT AVAILABLE making this a good opportunity to detox from social media and work emails. There is a wood fired heater to keep you warm as well as a reverse cycle air-conditioning in the living area. Please bring your own wood for the wood heater, if you like to use it. The summer breeze can easily be felt through the large windows and a fireplace helps keep things cozy in the winter. Our cottage has fair bit of open space to bring the nature close to you. The kitchen is fully functional and equipped with all that you will need to cook a meal for the family. Basic toiletries and condiments are provided: soap, body wash, shampoo, toilet paper, salt, sugar, coffee, and tea. However, for longer stays you may need to bring your own supplies. The surrounding area is quiet and rather laid back. The house is about a five minute walk from the town center containing a general store (supplying basics such as milk, bread, and ice cream), a fish and chips shop and a café. It is also very close to the public hall, playground, church and tennis courts. The golf course is also a 15 minutes walking distance. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO ARRIVE WITH GROCERIES AND DRINKING WATER. The nearest supermarket is in Sale - a 25 minute drive from the cottage. If you feel like a fun, peaceful and calming holiday please message us and we can work to make a booking. Guest access Guest have full access to the kitchen, living room, garden and all other areas of the home (which are not locked) Other things to note There is no WiFi available, so it may be ideal to make other arrangements (eg. Pocket WiFi) if an internet connection is necessary. Mobile phone reception is poor in the area, but usually manageable with a Telstra service. Pay phones are nearby for emergencies. In summer, depending on temperatures and breeze, Golden Beach is prone to have mosquitoes. At dawn and dusk, there are colonies of Kangaroos that frequent the area. It is advisable to carry sunscreen and mosquito repellant with you, while visiting the area. Please exercise caution while driving so that you do not have an encounter with any wild life.
