Hike the trails, picnic at the beach or grassy areas, watching the parade of boats sail by. Walk to the grocery store or Halifax Shopping Center where there are many shops, and an amazing food court in the lower level. Costco, movie theaters, box stores and many restaurants are a 10 minute drive away. A 5 minute drive to the heart of downtown Halifax. Many fun things to see and do in our city. Fantastic boardwalk all along the Halifax waterfront with many restaurants, bars, pubs, sailing adventures, jet ski rentals, whale watching tours, fishing tours, shops. we have an amazing public gardens in central downtown area, where there are many restaurants and shops to enjoy. In the winter we have the Halifax Oval where you can rent skates morning, noon and night. Our valley is famous for the many vineyards, fresh farm markets, fantastic pubs and restaurants only a 30 - 40 minute drive away. Another must see is our South shore. Hubbards, Peggys Cove, Chester, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg which are all along the waters edge. These are all within an 1 hour drive away. Guest access Beautiful cedar deck off of the kitchen area, overlooking a fabulous rushing waterway. Other things to note Prestigious dead end street that runs along the Northwest Arm.
