This two-bedroom, lakefront home sits on the north shore of Lake Sutherland, a wonderful place to swim from the dock, launch the provided kayak, or fish for rainbow trout, coastal cutthroat trout, and kokanee all summer. The national park boundary is just across the lake while downtown Port Angeles is 14 miles east. Whether you're planning to hike, kayak, or fish, you'll find the perfect place to end each afternoon on the open, tree-lined deck. This stunning spot overlooking the lake is ideal for morning coffee with a view, afternoon barbecues on the gas grill, and evening soaks in the private hot tub. A firepit just off the deck provides a cozy spot for s'mores and stories at night. The house is full of Pacific Northwest charm, offering wood-paneled walls and ceilings, windows that frame the lake, and a pellet stove to curl up to in the evenings. The upper, main level includes a sitting area with a TV and DVD player, an open kitchen with every essential, and two bistro dining tables to choose from. The two bedrooms are split between the two floors, with the lower-level primary bedroom offering a desk workspace and glass doors that open to a second shaded deck and hot tub. Things to Know There are stairs to get to the home. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Security camera details: There are three cameras, one overlooking the parking spot, one in front of the entrance and one that overlooks the lake from the top deck. Dock details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
