Stone House in Lilia near Ile Vierge Lighthouse
About the host
Description
Breton granite stone house just 500m from the sea in the small village of Lilia near Plouguerneau. The house dates from the early 19th century and has been renovated with light colours. Open stone walls, lots of wood and modern furniture give the holiday home a cozy character. You can see the nearby lighthouse Ile Vierge from the first floor of your holiday home. After only 500 m you reach the first beach, where you will find a creperie and a fish restaurant. The municipality of Plouguerneau has 18 km of coastal hiking trails that lead past fine sandy beaches, rugged rock formations and picturesque small bays as well as a wide range of water sports. Even the little ones can take part in the local sailing school. In summer there are many festivals and exhibitions in the vicinity, e.g. B. the Algae Festival in August. A major attraction is the lighthouse on the Ile Vierge of the same name. The lighthouse is a symbol of the Pays des Abers and, at almost 83 m, is the tallest stone lighthouse in Europe. Coastal walks extend around 18 km around Plouguerneau and offer an ever-changing panorama of mighty cliffs and spectacular sunsets.
