For this you can reach salmon rivers like Suldalslågen and Vikedalselva (fishing license obligatory) after only a short drive. There are many great hiking opportunities in this district; here you can get up close and personal with the fjord and mountain scenery. We recommend a hike to the mountain peaks Fjetlandsnuten and Grytenuten, where you will find a 360 degree telescope that gives a spectacular view all the way to Stavanger and the Folgefonna glacier. Follow the Norwegian Landscape Route in Ryfylke County, visiting the town of Sand with stores, the Ryfylke Museum, a laughter studio and the Sandsfossen waterfall.
