Dream like a child, in the middle of our herds of Bedouin horses, in a setting in the middle of nature on 40 ha of woods and meadows sloping gently towards the stream that feeds the large pond. "Les Deux Abbesses en Vert", nestled in the center of the 40 hectares of our conservatory of ancient lines of pure Arabian blood, suggests a poetic refuge. The raw spirit of the surrounding forest inspires dreamlike details of interior luxury. A large heated pool offers two massaging waterfalls. The large pontoon awaits you to watch the carp jump, for a fishing session (no kill), or for a boat or kayak ride. "Les Deux Abbesses en Vert", "in verse and for all", nestled in the center of the 40 hectares of our stud farm of purebred Arabian thoroughbreds, offers a gentle, poetic, and delicate refuge. A swimming pool heated to 28° and of a good size welcomes real swimmers in season, with a 4 x 14 meter long lane. Secured by a submerged shutter and fully enclosed by chestnut wood fences with a code-operated gate, it offers 2 massage waterfalls and its paved terrace facing the meadows gets sun all day long. The raw spirit of the surrounding forest inspires dreamlike details in a luxurious interior, enriched by elements you will recognize as nods to the area's history. We offer alternative experiences with our horses, such as the "Goûter Grattouilles" or "Comme un Souffle de Liberté", or even sessions of sound therapy walks with the horses. La Grande Maison is a spacious Perigord building covering 300 m2 on two levels between a paved and enclosed courtyard and a small garden. The large, enclosed paved courtyard, shaded by a majestic linden tree, offers breathtaking views of the beautiful weeping willow that lines the river and of sunrises tinged with magic. A few steps lead you directly to the large, very well-equipped kitchen with a professional stove and beautiful furniture, large enough for breakfasts, which you will also love to take out to enjoy while lounging in the cobblestone courtyard.  Next, the spacious living room, furnished with antiques with African and Asian accents, features 3 large sofas in front of the fireplace and a beautiful Chinese altar table for refined dinners. Our elegant rooms, inspired by fairy tales and legends, are on the first floor of the house, and each has its own private bathroom and toilet. Discover KIRIN, EPONA, PEGASE or BAYARD in detail in the articles dedicated to them. ****The "Kirin" room is located in the South West corner: a "plum blossom" wall panel meets the velvet of the sofa where Asian riders frolic in front of the large canopy bed (170 x 210). From your windows, you can see horses in the meadows or the small morning deer. The large absinthe bathroom offers a bath and jet shower. ****The “Pegasus” Room: A warm, stormy-sky blue meets a soothing sand tone against the striking headboard, made up of heavy 18th-century doors that will open onto your dreams. The bathroom, tiled with wood and paved with basalt, creates a chromotherapy effect in the bathtub or under the shower. ****The “Epona” Room, in black and white, lets horses gallop across the walls, which blend in with those outside. The all-gray en-suite bathroom features a large shower and a traditional bathtub positioned in front of the window. ****The “Bayard” Room, with its two (or three) twin beds, makes a real statement with its incredible hand-painted wallpaper in shades of Parma blue and Chinese red. The shower room is across the hall. It became a perfect room for children or grandmothers. Le Terrier des Lapins is a restored old barn of 200 m2 on two levels, an annex in the wing overlooking the paved courtyard of the house.  The offer is for a cottage for 4 to 8 adults and 1 to 3 children, rented with the large kitchen and sitting area. Beyond the magical entrance in the middle of the birch trees, on your left, the large kitchen and its sitting area are bathed in light. At each end of the floor, there is a bedroom and bathroom set up along a common hallway at the end of the spiral staircase. ****The "Sleipnir" room, in beige and gray, is very cozy and offers a double bed and a sofa bed, and could accommodate up to 4 people. Its bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and shower. The toilets are separate and private. ****The small "Unicorn" room is attached to it. Twin beds. It shares the bathroom with Sleipnir and cannot be rented on its own. ****The "Hermes" Room, a delightful grotto in shades of orange and chocolate, features a large bed and, in an alcove, a sumptuous chocolate velvet and silk sofa bed, in a world of troglodyte hunting scenes. On either side of the headboard, there is a shower and a private toilet. La Grande Maison is classified as a 5* vacation rental. Its B&B rooms are classified as 3 "pépites" (nuggets) as a Bed and Breakfast by the Departmental Tourism Committee. Le Terrier des Lapins is rated 4* as a gîte.
