Shahhat house is located in absolutely amazing area, just in front of the magnificent Medinet Habu Temple and very close to many other ancient Egyptian historical sites. The view from the top roof terrace is stunning. You may enjoy the look of the ancient Temple with the Theban mountains in the background... truly amazing!!! Old Coptic church is walking distance to the desert. Many other attractions of ancient Thebes are easy to reach by taxi, bike or even donkey, camel or horse ride.
