In the main house you will also find a fireplace room and sauna. The large property invites you to relax and slow down. You will also find a fenced dog forest garden to linger. The most beautiful hiking trails start right outside the front door and lead to unique natural beauty. The space The Thuringian Waldbaude is nestled between forest and meadows, in the city of the 7 valleys and the dams - in Tambach-Dietharz, on the edge of the Rennsteig - in the beautiful Thuringian Forest. The Hundeblick apartment is located on the ground floor of the Waldbaude and has a separate entrance. The beautiful apartment has a small entrance area with bench and wardrobe, a large living area with an electrically adjustable sofa, a large smart TV, a dining table with two chairs and a very modern kitchenette. The windows are equipped with pleated blinds. The daylight bathroom has a walk-in, large shower, a vanity with mirror, a toilet and a hairdryer. The large bedroom with a double bed, bedside tables, reading lamps, a sliding door wardrobe, a relaxing armchair and a bookshelf offers a beautiful view. The bedroom has blackout pleats and curtains on all windows, as well as insect screens and a smart TV. Dog baskets can be borrowed free of charge. Dog bowls, intelligence toys and relevant reading material are available in the apartment. In the Thuringian forest lodge you will also find a fireplace room and sauna. The large property has a forest garden with pergola and views of Inselsberg and Rennsteig, a forest terrace with barbecue area and lawn, a fenced dog forest garden and a large parking lot right outside the front door. The hiking trails start at the house. In winter you can start cross-country skiing from the front door. Guest access Our guests have access to the forest garden, the forest terrace, the lawn, the fenced dog forest garden, the fireplace room and the sauna (for an extra charge). Other things to note The city of Tambach-Dietharz charges a visitor's tax of €1.50 per guest/night. Children 7 years and older pay €0.70/night. The city's visitor's card is handed over with the visitor's tax contribution. This visitor's card is considered a free ticket for public transport and you get discounted admission in many places. The visitor's tax is paid to us upon arrival and we will then hand you the visitor's card.
