The enclosed back porch is a coat drop area, but with wi-fi, desk, chair, and lamp, it also serves as the perfect spot to get a little work done! Several restaurants are within walking distance including our personal favorite “Fourk”, and you are just a five minute drive from Lake Hickory, Lenoir-Rhyne University, the SALT Block (Catawba Science Center & Hickory Museum of Art), Frye Regional Medical Center, and downtown shopping. The Hickory Trail is nearby, spanning 10 miles around the city, and provides bicycle and pedestrian safety while connecting popular destinations and amenities. You will love the small town feel of Hickory while still being close to shopping, dining, entertainment and adventure. Our place is less than 5 minutes from Hwy 321 and I-40; 10 minutes from Hickory Furniture Mart and Hickory Metro Convention Center; 25 minutes from Providence Cotton Mill; less than an hour to the ski slopes and shopping of Boone/Blowing Rocks; 1 hour from Charlotte Motor Speedway, Concord Mills, the U.S National Whitewater Center, and Carowinds; 1.5 hours east of Biltmore Estate in Asheville and 1.5 hours west of Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro.
