This cottage is located on a working, lobster fishing harbor. 2 gracious porches, one screened the other open, face Cadillac Mountain located at Acadia National Park (a 45 minute drive away). The cottage is built on a single level with two cozy living rooms and a large kitchen dining area. You will be delighted with the indoor/outdoor feel of the space. Only 6 miles away is Schoodic @ Acadia Nat'l Park where biking, hiking and quintessential Maine views abound! The space This cottage is located at the end of a very long gravel drive on 7 acres of property. The setting is private. The grounds are fully landscaped and the cottage is surrounded by lawns--great for games (croquet and badminton)--and gardens. The interior is charming and simple, but comfortably furnished in keeping with the log architecture of the home. The views from the home are breathtaking. Guest access All parts of the cottage are open for use, including the basement where the washer/dryer are located. The basement is only accessible via an exterior entrance. There is no access from the interior of the cottage. Other things to note An historic family cemetery with a few headstones is located on the property. The cemetery is carefully landscaped and screened from view with a fence, bush roses and an evergreen garden. No ghost sightings have ever been reported!
