I’m JANÉA, surrounded by vineyards, cradled by gentle slopes, and softly nudged awake by time itself. My creators are Melinda, a traveler from Taiwan, and Bernard, an Alsatian winemaker. I’m here for wandering souls, and for those who just want to do absolutely nothing for a few days. No one will stop you. Everything here takes its time—just like good wine. The Blue House embodies my Zen mode—a space that's spacious yet intimate, blue but never melancholic. It rests amidst the vineyards, with nothing obstructing the panoramic views, so much so that the sky feels like an indoor guest. At times, gazing out, you might feel like the sky's roommate. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it's perfect for family or friends, ensuring no one grumbles about long showers. The living room is expansive, the reading nook inviting, and the kitchen highly functional (though local cuisine might tempt you out). The highlight is the 180-degree floor-to-ceiling window, a silent companion capturing the vineyards, morning light, and evening hues. The Blue House isn't about emptiness but about creating space. For those stories yet to be told, it offers a place to ferment. I'm not the kind of guesthouse that schedules your itinerary; I don't rush, don't intrude, don't set vacation KPIs. I'm the place that waits quietly for you to toss your phone aside and daydream until you feel like a cloud. So, don't overthink it. Come stay. Just bring your weary self, and I'll help you reboot. Guest access Located on the second floor of JANÉA, the Blue House is a warm and welcoming apartment designed for families and close friends. As you step inside, the soft blue and white tones evoke the breezy Aegean coast, while the view outside reveals the tender green rows of an Alsatian vineyard. Mediterranean freshness and local warmth meet here like a glass of chilled white wine—light, crisp, and gently intoxicating. The spacious layout is perfect for shared moments. Two expansive floor-to-ceiling windows bring the vineyard into the living room, where sunlight and nature flow freely from dawn to dusk. The master suite features a 160×200cm double bed and an additional single bed, along with a private bathroom—ideal for up to 3 guests. A second bedroom holds two 90×190cm single beds, and the sofa bed in the living room accommodates two more. The apartment comfortably hosts up to 7 guests. Here, time doesn’t tick—it lingers, wrapped in laughter and togetherness. Here’s what you need to know before booking: 🚫 No parties, no DJs. This is a place for peace, not a personal music festival. After 10pm, especially on the balcony, please keep it down—we have neighbors (and they’re not into techno at midnight). Repeated noise = possible early checkout. Not ideal for anyone. 🙅 Guests = booked guests. Only the number of people on your reservation may stay. No extra visitors, sorry! Want to invite someone for a quick drink? Ask us first—we’re nice, just not psychic. ⏰ Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Unless you tell us in advance you need a bit more time to hug the bed goodbye. Late checkout without notice = €20/hr fee, which goes straight to our patient cleaning crew. 🐾 Pets? Yes, but... Max 2 small pets. Keep them clean and well-behaved.
