It is beautiful, safe, has many of its own attractions and provides easy access to Cape Town city centre. Some nearby attractions include the Newlands SAB Brewery, Newlands Cricket Oval, many resturants, bars and shops, the University of Cape Town, Newlands Forest and Kirstenbosch. Car is the best way. Either your own or Ubers are readily available in the area. One can walk to the shops, stadium and resturants during the day. The studio is located close to Main Road where the UCT Jammie stops as well as taxis and the train stations (although these are often unreliable)
